Bureau of Labor and Industries, Civil Rights Division, State of Oregon BOLI enforces state laws that ban discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations, and protect workers and children in the workplace.

United States Commission on Civil Rights
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is an independent, bipartisan agency established to guarantee equal protection to all under the Constitution. Investigates complaints, collects information, and serves as a national clearinghouse for information.

U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights
The mission of the Office for Civil Rights is to ensure equal access to education, to promote educational excellence, and resolve complaints of discrimination. OCR also provides technical assistance to help institutions achieve voluntary compliance with the civil rights laws.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights
The Department of Health and Human Services, through the Office for Civil Rights, promotes and ensures that people have equal access to and opportunity to participate in and receive services in all HHS programs without facing unlawful discrimination.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Fair Housing, and Civil Rights (HUD)
HUD's home page was created to help people find homes and to help our nation's communities develop and thrive. It is a huge clearinghouse of information about homes and communities.

U.S. Department of the Interior - Workforce Diversity
The DOI maintains a calendar of upcoming diversity events throughout the country, and a review of recent articles defining and assessing the efforts to improve opportunities for women and minorities.

U.S. Department of Justice - Civil Rights Division
The Civil Rights Division was established for the purpose of enforcing federal statutes that prohibit exclusion and discrimination. Their mission is to enforce the letter and spirit of the civil rights laws, without fear or favor, on behalf of all Americans. They also work to educate the public about the civil rights laws to enhance and promote enforcement activities so that all Americans can be treated with dignity..

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
The mission of the EEOC is to promote equal opportunity in employment through administrative and judicial enforcement of the federal civil rights laws and through education and technical assistance.
