Six months ago, The Emanuel Displaced Persons Association 2 (EDPA2) partnered with the brilliant minds at FutureLab (through Portland State University's Masters of Urban and Regional Planning program) for an in depth study to "show" the destruction of Central Albina. The majority Black owned neighborhood was demolished to make room for the Emanuel Hospital expansion. The result was a groundbreaking 104-page report combining years of EDPA2 research with the latest GIS technology.
