Happy AANHPI month! This month, let’s not only celebrate our shared heritage but also stand united against the current administration’s illegal acts of deportation under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 — the same act used to place Japanese Americans into concentration camps during World War 2.

Save the date! This Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11th, we will be marching against the Trump administration's immigration policies and ICE deportations.

Time: 9 AM - 12 Noon
Where: Meet at the Japanese American Historical Plaza for speakers then march towards Terry Schrunk Plaza.

Our monthly Prefecture Club was created to help re

Our monthly Prefecture Club was created to help reconnect Japanese Americans with their home prefectures through food and culture. This month we will be focusing on Kanagawa-ken!

Learn how to cut fish and prepare your own Maguro-Don and Sashimi Kangawa style. We will also feature a special presentation from @jillaki on refuse, reuse and incenerator processes in Japan.
