This was the talk back session after the play, "Yo

This was the talk back session after the play, "Yohen," playing at the Brunish Theater across from the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. This is one of the best plays I have ever seen. Philip Gotunda, a Sansei playwright is a masterful writer (on the far right). The story is about a long married couple who are struggling with their marriage. The play is a conversation between the two, a retired Black GI and his Japanese wife, which brings up memories of their courtship, their families, and their choices in life. It was so authentic and real. What is so amazing is that what is unsaid is just as powerful as what is said. The actors are terrific. Get tickets at PassinArt and use discount code JACL
