Tracy and Tabatha Martin are raising their three-year-old daughter Thalia in a homeless encampment in the Kakaʻako neighborhood in Honolulu after Tracy suffered a heart attack and then lost his job. Dear Thalia provides a rare close-up view of one homeless family’s story. Imbued with grace and humanity, this documentary shows the struggle to live in "paradise", as well as the long history of displacement for Hawai'i's people.
