Kishi Bashi with Oregon Symphony

On February 24, Kishi Bashi, a Japanese American indie artist, will perform with the Oregon Symphony. A key component of this concert will be his performance of “Improvisations on EO9066,” a piece inspired by Executive Order 9066, the order issued by President Franklin D. Roosevelt that led to the forced relocation and internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.
